Haniya: "no place for invaders and occupiers on Jerusalem"

April 15, 2022

Head of Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, confirmed today, Friday, that "There is no place for invaders and occupiers on our holy Jerusalem and land, and we will win the struggle of will and identity no matter how long it takes."

This came in a press statement, commenting on the Israeli occupation forces' storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the detention of a large number of worshipers after assaulting them.

In the face of Zionist thuggery and the storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, there are only two options, said Haniya, whether to "accept the occupation assault, its brutality, and its colonial settlers' animal slaughter in Al-Aqsa Mosque", or to "consolidate the Islamic character and origin of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Haniya stressed, "We, the Palestinian people and the Islamic nation, are the ones who run the situation, and we have decided to defend and protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, whatever the cost."
